Since 1942 Chesapeake Beach Volunteer Fire and Rescue Dept. Inc. has been answering your calls for help. Now we need your help.
Your donation is tax deductible and is absolutely essential in order for your rescue squad to maintain our services at no cost to you. Virginia Beach Rescue does not charge for any service we provide, unlike our neighboring Hamptonroads communities.
Our squad is responsible for purchasing our own equipment, medical supplies and uniforms. Additionally, we are responsible for our building’s upkeep.
Our costs to provide care in 2012 are as follows:
New Ambulance $150,000 (initial supplies/equipment $100,000)
Medical Supplies $24,000 yearly
Replacement Equipment $30,000 yearly
